So, starting next week, I will be out and about on 6th St., engaging all the neighbors, trying to collect signatures in order to have my street designated residential. As it now stands, we have heavy truck traffic rolling through our hood in order to avoid having to use the traffic laden streets they are supposed to use. Therefore, we will stand against them. In the words of Benji Adkins, "truckers are nasty."

Home Improvement Project #1
So, this was our first project in the new house (foreclosure, obviously, or this post would be about our new studio apartment in SW). We ripped up the soaked floor and replaced the kicked down door. Finally got the old washer dryer out and a new floor down, but ended up having to call in a professional to frame the door. Turns out, even though I am super compassionate, unlike Jesus, I'm not much of a carpenter.
